Bria Arline, MBA
CEO and Founder
As the Founder and CEO of IQ Ignited, Bria Arline leads a team of skilled grant consultants who provide comprehensive and customized grant solutions, from research and planning to solicitation and grants management. Her experience has resulted in millions of dollars secured for community-based organizations and local governments. A former educator and marketing professional, she is proud to help education and workforce development organizations across the U.S. expand access to key programs, working alongside a team that has helped clients achieve a 2-3x greater success rate than the national average and secured millions in funding, leading to transformed lives and communities.
Bria Arline holds a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance and a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing from Regent University.


Heather Montano
Lead Consultant
Heather Montano has spent nearly a decade in fundraising as a grant writer and consultant, working with organizations of all shapes and sizes, ranging from grassroots community-based organizations to municipalities and national coalitions. Before joining IQ Ignited, Heather worked as an independent consultant, where her efforts helped clients secure millions in funding. Under her guidance, clients have significantly grown their grant budgets, at times tripling their revenues.
In addition to her consultancy work, Heather has coached and trained junior grant writers, contributing to the growth and development of the profession both nationally and globally.
Dr. Ruby Wadee
Associate
Dr. Wadee holds her doctorate in Rhetoric and Composition with a special research emphasis on Technical Communication and International Non-Governmental Organizations from the University of Texas at El Paso. Her work in higher education includes instruction on proposal writing and preparation. Prior to coming to IQ Ignited, Ruby invested her talents in serving La Posada Home EP, an organization providing shelter and support to women and victims of domestic violence.


Carla McMillan, M.Ed.
Associate
In her career, Carla McMillan has worked in higher education, private clinical settings and public K-12 organizations, providing strategic ongoing program support. As a grant associate, her current role includes collaborating to ensure accurate federal grant budgets for program delivery. Carla’s experience includes providing post-award services for public and private grant programs, pre-award budget and narrative creation and ongoing reporting support for private philanthropy and public grant projects.
Prior to her work at IQ Ignited, Carla conducted research in Industrial and Organizational psychology, leveraging her training to help individuals with disabilities build vocational skills. She also has robust experience in career services as a professional resume writer, leading workforce workshops and coaching to optimize client success.
Faith Kane
Operations Manager
Faith Kane is an experienced company manager, having overseen teams at two locations and a strategic expansion for a local service-based business. Her expertise includes HR, operations efficiency and customer service.
Prior to her work as a business manager, Faith served in the nonprofit sector, working to provide effective marketing and communication for key external stakeholders of a local environmental protection organization. She was active in research and grant proposal preparation focused on legal action and advocacy of environmental protection initiatives.


Ruth Yelton
Lead Assistant Project Manager
Ruth Yelton is an experienced project management and dedicated customer service professional. Her work supporting fundraising projects has included managing stakeholders, the completion of key deliverables and providing insightful prospect research for community-based organizations and coalitions of such organizations and local governments.
Prior to her work at IQ Ignited, Ruth worked as a project manager for a market analyst firm, where she helped organize market research studies to gain community feedback, analyzed participant data and ensured expansive corporate projects remained on schedule and on budget.
Megan Logan
Assistant Project Manager
Megan Logan brings extensive experience as a communications, customer service and administrative expert. Before joining IQ Ignited, Megan worked as a director of communications at a private school, implementing key technology and systems. Megan’s administrative and project management acumen allowed her to coordinate internal teams and ensure smooth operations while overseeing administrative operational transitions. In her role at IQ Ignited, Megan facilitates client communications and streamlines deliverables for projects varying from private philanthropic grants to extensive federal projects.
